Doesn't the latest online article on the website say exactly the opposite, that's what I read "Nottingham Forest's takeover saga should still be resolved by the weekend. " to mean

If an approach has been made for Rowett and the sale of Lansbury agreed (if reports are true) I think the sale has gone through with an announcement imminent.

May have been Fawaz's parting shot, sell Lansbury, give me the money and I sign. I do agree though if Lansbury is a done deal and an approach has been made for Rowatt it looks to be done apart from the annoncement and JJ himself at the CG for the home game on Sat.

Your right, we are :-) Head's all over the place this week, thought it was the Bristol game on Sat, wishing my life away!

The cash from Lansbury would not belong to FAW. He is an asset of NFFC therefore the cash is NFFC's. The fact that NFFC owes FAW cash is irrelevant in the transfer process. As part of the takeover he will probably get his loan repaid anyway even if over a period of time.

If you read the financial report on companies house the load from the Fawaz and the family is only repayable as and when the club can afford it. As of 31st May they have lent the club £67.3mill to enable to club to keep trading. Though the running of the club has a lot to be desired you can not criticise their financial commitment to the club

V1p3r the cash will have gone back into the running of the club. The club is a separate legal entity. If he has taken cash back out it will be to repay some of the loans he has made to the club.
