Oscar Garcia, Neil Warnock and Martin O'Neil in that order according to bookies. O'Neil would be a Pearce-type hostage to fortune with a huge weight of expectation round his neck and Garcia a risk. Warnock has the proven Championship credentials. I wouldn't worry about his age; just look what a job CR has done at Leicester. I hope the bookies turn out to be correct. Any of these three with some money to strengthen the squad and freedom from backstage interference would be pretty interesting.

This is getting more and more ridiculous now. Still no managerial appointment and it looks like all the decent ones are either not interested (says a lot, doesn't it) , or have buggered off to another club. Now we have the usual cack from the likes of McGovern saying that annually repeated message of 'we only need two or three more players to be promo contenders' because he's got faith in Assombalonga and Cohen. Well they've not really been put through their paces sInce coming back from injury (especially Britt) , so it they break down during pre-season we are in dire straits. and I don't mean the group of OAP's with the guitarist who wears that big headband!
