Lewis Baker on his way on a short term loan from Chelsea while we get Reid and Vaughan fit

1.) 16 Oct 2014
Where have you read this.

2.) 16 Oct 2014
A bit young for the responsibility he will have, but highly rated by Mourhino

3.) 16 Oct 2014
This looks like two add two making five after looking on chelsea websites as derby interested

4.) 16 Oct 2014
Its written in the tea leaves!

5.) 16 Oct 2014
Lets hope he's better than Chalobah. Looking at Lewis Bakers career to date, would fancy Ben Osbourn to do equally as good a job.

6.) 16 Oct 2014
Pearce has said that no signing is imminent. which would be more believable. think we do need to sort something out but I'm not sure there's a need to rush into anything

7.) 16 Oct 2014
The thing that's got to happen now is to get david Vaughan fit and back on the field , for me he,d do an excellent job in the Andy Reid role , much sooner see this than loan signing coming in ,any news on his fitness ?
CARLO

8.) 16 Oct 2014
Just read on the official site that Wilson and Vaughan will travel to Cardiff and are in contention to play. Great news

9.) 16 Oct 2014
Vaughan could be back Saturday. SP has previously said (was in interview last week I think) Lewis was someone they looked at but decided not the player for them at this time.

10.) 16 Oct 2014
He will be in the squad on Saturday according to Pearce. wilson has recovered from the bug he picked up. get pato in there pulling the strings, he will open up some space for Britt to get in behind. like someone said the other day we could go 3-5-2
Darlow
Wilson mancienne lacselles
Hunt. Lichaj
Lansbury tesche
Pato
Britt fryatt
Those three at the back would easily cover anything that is thrown at them at this level giving lichaj and hunt a little more freedom to help out in midfield. or even Osborn in for lichaj as he can tackle but also has the energy to run his socks off and get back with more pace than lichaj. plenty of options with this squad to change it up if things don't work out.

11.) 16 Oct 2014
I think SP has already said in an interview, a week or two back, that Baker is more likely to go to Middlesbrough and that Forest weren't looking to move for him at the moment. Don't think muh will have changed from that.

And why would we all of a sudden switch to 352? A formation the players are unfamiliar with and one that, to my knowledge, SP has never used in the past? Bizarre.

12.) 16 Oct 2014
I would much prefer to see us stick to the diamond formation but play as follows:
Darlow (GK)
Hunt (RB)
Mancienne (CB)
Wilson (CB)
Lichaj (LB)
Tesche (DM)
Burke (RM)
Vaughan (CM)
Antonio (LM)
Lansbury (ACM)
Assombalonga (ST)

It would work like a 4-5-1 when we weren’t in possession and then a 4-3-3 when attacking. Extra midfield cover would help to fill the Reid void and Vaughan has it in his locker. Also allows full backs to get forward which is when we have been at our most dangerous this season. Osborn, Fryatt and Paterson can then be brought on to add real menace in the second half.

13.) 16 Oct 2014
Sir Brian Clough. 100% agree with that team!

14.) 16 Oct 2014
I wasn't suggesting doing this at the weekend I was saying that injuries aren't that bad but if they got worse we have loads of options to change formation to suit the fit players. rather than relying on getting new players in that might not work.
I'm one for sticking with what is working what we are doing is working so stick with it. all I was stating was that with ought the injury prone players we still have options.
Burke has been poor for us. can't work out if he's a starter or a last 20minute man to bring on.

15.) 16 Oct 2014
Vaughan is the more natural screening/holding midfielder. Tesche and Lansbury playing in front of him

16.) 17 Oct 2014
I dunno, Vaughn seems to have more creativity then tesche, a good mix of defensive and attacking mindset with him. Tesche is quality, so don't get me wrong.
